Place your cursor where you want the image and use the Photo button Photo Buttonlocated on the EasyEdit Toolbar. The following menu appears:

Notice that a variety of images used in this tutorial are listed. You could use one of these by selecting it.
or
You could create a slideshow of images by clicking on Add Slideshow at the far right.
or
You could Search Yahoo! for copyright free images by clicking on the middle choice
or
You could Upload New Photos from your computer or a website.

We are going to upload an image from my computer.

After choosing Upload New Photos, the following menu appears:

Upload Photo Menu

The default is On my computer, so select browse and find the photo. I like to keep photos that I have selected for WetPaint in a folder on my desktop, because it is easy to locate.

If you don't want to add the photo to the site gallery, uncheck the box at the bottom left.

Click Add Photo, and the Title menu appears:

Photo Title Menu

The title menu is an accessibility feature for people who are using voice reader tools to access the page.

If you want to make your image available to search engines like Google images, add keywords.

You may Skip this menu.

The Edit Photo Display menu appears next

This is the default wrap How to Edit - Medical Educationand is useful for placing small images into a line of text like this. It is also useful for text that needs to be centered on the page using the center tool on the EasyEdit Toolbar. This is how the Brainbar was added at the bottom of this page.

A new addition to WetPaint is the online photo editing tool Picnik. This tool will be discussed in a later section of the tutorial.
