WetPaint stores all images used on your site in the Photos section listed at the top left of the WetPaint site. Save the page you were working on and take a look at the images that already exist on this site. You can use these images on your page or you can upload an image from your computer.
Place your cursor where you want the image and use the Photo button

located on the EasyEdit Toolbar. The following menu appears:
Notice that a variety of images used in this tutorial are listed. You could use one of these by selecting it.
or
You could create a slideshow of images by clicking on
Add Slideshow at the far right.
or
You could
Search Yahoo! for copyright free images by clicking on the middle choice
or
You could
Upload New Photos from your computer or a website.
We are going to upload an image from my computer.
After choosing
Upload New Photos, the following menu appears:

The default is
On my computer, so select browse and find the photo. I like to keep photos that I have selected for WetPaint in a folder on my desktop, because it is easy to locate.
If you don't want to add the photo to the site gallery, uncheck the box at the bottom left.
Click
Add Photo, and the Title menu appears:

The title menu is an accessibility feature for people who are using voice reader tools to access the page.
If you want to make your image available to search engines like Google images, add keywords.

The
Edit Photo Display menu appears next

You can increase + or decrease - the size of the photo.
You can
Wrap Text around an image

Important images go on the left with the text on the right like many of the images in this section.

Images that are more decorative or used to highlight go on the right side of the page with text on the left.
This is the default wrap

and is useful for placing small images into a line of text like this. It is also useful for text that needs to be centered on the page using the center tool on the EasyEdit Toolbar. This is how the Brainbar was added at the bottom of this page.
A new addition to WetPaint is the online photo editing tool
Picnik. This tool will be discussed in a later section of the tutorial.
